Tipptex N non woven geotextiles
Tipptex® N non woven geotextile products are made of 100% polypropylene raw material which is needle punched/ thermally bonded to form a wide product range with densities between 100 and 1200 g/m2 and tensile strength values between 5-60 kN/m. These products combine high water permeability with excellent solid material separation capabilities. Due to the outstanding mechanical properties of the material the product is ideal for many applications from hydraulic constructions, through road and railway construction works and landfill sites, to a wide range of applications within the civil engineering and building sectors.
Functions of Tipptex® N geotextiles:
- separation (prevents mixing of different grain size soils)
- filtration (prevents grain movements due to water flow),
- drainage (draining of water from the soil),
- erosion control (protection of slope areas from grain movement due to water down flow),
- protection (protection of geomembranes against mechanical damage).
