Tipptex BS non woven geotextile
The Tipptex® BS non woven geotextile products are made of 100% polypropylene raw material, with stitched fiber structure, with available area densities between 85 and 370 g/m2 and tensile strength values between 4-30 kN/m. Tipptex® BS geotextile provides better mechanical properties with less area density values compared to the Tipptex® B/N types due to the new production technology. It primary suits those application scenarios, where the excellent mechanical properties of the geotextiles is a requirement.
Functions of Tipptex® geotextiles:
- separation (prevents mixing of different grain size soils),
- filtration (prevents grain movements due to water flow),
- drainage (draining of water from the soil),
- erosion control (protection of slope areas from grain movement due to water down flow).
